Overseer: Apostle Dorothy L. Jett Biography
Apostle Dorothy L. Jett is an anointed faith talking, faith believing woman who knows and keeps her place; the place of being obedient to the word of God and allowing that word to come to life in her by the work of the Holy Ghost.
Apostle Jett began prophesying at the age of four years old. She was later saved in the Hardwick State Penitentiary for women in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was filled with the Holy Ghost at a United Pentecostal Church meeting held at the Officers Club in Darmstadt, Germany. Called into the ministry in 1978, Apostle Jett surrendered her will, plans and desires to God after running for two years. She labors in love and humility with her husband Apostle Willie M. Jett Jr.. Apostle Dorothy Jett also stood in the dual office of Pastor and Co-Pastor of the Sullivan Apostolic Service in Mannheim, Germany in 1983-1993. She now serves as Co-Pastor of the Last Days Full Gospel Apostolic Ministry in Hinesville, Georgia which was established in 1993.
After suffering damage to her sciatic nerve Apostle Jett was unable to walk and had to use a wheelchair followed by the use of a cane for nearly seven years. God miraculously healed her of broken bones and fully restored the use of her legs from the affliction for his Glory. Apostle Jett's gifts from God have made room for her: Prayer Intercessor, Sunday School Teacher, International Sunday School President, Spiritual Counselor, Seminar Facilitator, President and Founder of the Women of Sion Women Department and Annual Holy Women Retreat. Apostle Jett has labored also through her Nursing Home and Prison Ministry.
Apostle Jett is a renowned Statewide and International Evangelist, through her ministry many souls have been saved, baptized in the Name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. Many souls have been healed, renewed and restored. She has counseled many married couples. She is a bold and courageous Kingdom builder, armed and dangerous in the Holy Ghost; also known as the "Bounty Hunter" whose "Coming to get you Dead or Alive". To God be the Glory for all he has done.
Apostle Dorothy L. Jett was born in Phoenix City, Alabama; one of Twelve children to John and Lois Tatum. She is also the mother of Three children and grandchildren.
